London Pride for Siemens Mobility

Welcome back to my blog guys. Two weeks ago, I spent a couple of days in London to capture the preparation of the London Pride and the parade itsself for Siemens Mobility. Siemens Mobility collaborated with Transport for London and many people worked really hard to prepare a colourful and photogenic truck for the parade.

The next pictures will display what I’m talking about:

The ones of you that ever got the chance to participate in a Pride, know that it’s a really colourful event with many interesting people and outfits. Everybody is dressed up nicely and some people seem to be better prepared than at a fashion event.

I really enjoyed that everyone was so friendly to each other, celebrating the LGBT+ community united. Even the little ones were already participating, tolerance should get learned from an early age on.

The Pride parade was taking place in the center of London and it was an amazing experience to walk through the iconic streets together with the colourful masses, while being cheered on by the people watching the parade from the sides. The spectators were as diverse as the participants, you could basically see every age group participating, from little kids to older people. It was also very interesting to see that even people coming from countries where the LGBT+ community is not as tolerated as in Europe were present.

Here are some more impressions from the parade:

The whole atmosphere of the parade was thrilling, you could really feel that the people were celebrating their freedom. If you ever have the chance to participate in one of the Pride parades, or at least watch it from the side, I can totally recommend the experience. You will get so much entertainment while contributing in the fight for tolerance.

Thanks again to the whole Siemens Mobility team for making this happen, it was a real blast.
